Tequila Jalapeño Drunken Shrimp

Ingredients:

Shrimp, peeled and de-veined

Olive oil

Red onion, small diced, charred

Cilantro, chopped

Roasted red peppers, small diced
⅔ cup
Tequila
¼ cup
Avocado, diced

Bag tortilla chips, corn tortillas or tostadas

Directions:
  1. Marinate the shrimp in the olive oil, spices, 3 tbsp. of lime juice, lime zest, and add a touch of salt.
  2. Let sit 20-30 minutes.
  3. Sauté the shrimp in two batches over medium heat until cooked through. Then cool completely.
  4. Heat and flame the tequila; chill.
  5. Once chilled, combine the shrimp in a medium mixing bowl with the remaining lime juice, onion, Jalapeños, cilantro, Tres Hermanas Medium Green Verde Mexican Cooking Sauce, red peppers, tomatillo salsa, tequila and avocado.
  6. Season with salt and stir to combine.
  7. Spoon into a martini glass or shallow bowl. Drizzle with extra sauce to create a slight pool in the serving dish.
  8. Serve with tortilla chips, grilled corn tortillas or tostadas.
