Beef Barbacoa Sliders

Ingredients:

Red onion, thinly sliced
½
Pepper jack cheese
12 slices
¾ cup
Avocado, sliced

Garlic flavored mayonnaise
¾ cup
Hawaiian sweet rolls, sliced in half

Butter, melted
½ stick

Directions:
  1. In a small pan, sauté the red onions over medium heat until caramelized. Reserve.
  2. Brush the Hawaiian rolls with melted butter and broil until golden and toasted. Top the bottom slices with hot barbacoa and a slice of cheese. Broil until the cheese is bubbly. Remove the slider bottoms to a serving plate.
  3. Finish layering with 1 tbsp. of Tres Hermanas Spirited Tequila Jalapeños, 2 slices of avocado, 1 tbsp. of red onions and 1 tbsp. of garlic mayo on each slider. Place the top buns on the sliders and serve.

Chef's Tips:
  • You can either buy garlic mayo, or follow our recipe: 1 cup mayo + 2 tbsp. roasted garlic (smashed) + 1 ½ tsp. salt + ¼ tsp. black pepper.
